Cute Cousins

I was just going through some pictures of the kids and came across some real cute ones so here you go. They are all just so much fun, Sydnee is growing up so fast it seems and is such a good big sister, Ashlee is hilarious and an absolute doll, Jack is just full of it, always full of energy, Josh....oh Josh is sooo cute I just love him and could kiss his face off if he would only let me and then Jake, Jake is so sweet and love able and will snuggle up and read a book with you at any point and is always happy to have a treat! Carson is so lucky to have such fun Cousins, he loves each of them and is always happy when they come over to play. I just love them all to pieces.

Finished!

Well I have been reading the best book. It is called The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zaffon, and it has to be one of the best books I have ever read, at first I was a little unsure of it but the more I read, I was hooked. The story is just excellent. It is about looking past peoples faults and accepting them for who they really are, and you just don't know what people are going through until you walk in their shoes, it was just a treat to read. I recommend it to everyone!

HE DID IT, HE SERIOUSLY DID IT!

I am a proud Mom, Carson decided yesterday to ride his bike and he did it!! Oh, we have been working on this skill all summer long and at one point he suggested throwing his bike in the garbage cause he was tired of falling off of it! But yesterday we went outside and he was riding on his little three wheeler and I told him that he should give his bike a shot and he agreed and he did it! Wade and I were both screaming and cheering and he was so proud of himself, it was too cute for words. And yes, I am indeed on roller blades, cause I am a nerd and it's kinda a great work out!

Can we all say Domestic?!

So everyone should be real real proud, I canned this weekend! First I went up to Grandma Bishop's house and canned my tomatoes because I had no idea what I was doing and she had all the stuff for me to use so that worked out real good for me. I did about 12 bottles of tomatoes, some juice and the rest are just tomato chunks (gotta figure out what to do with them now!) It was kinda hard work but I was so glad to have them done and it was pretty fun! It was so nice of her to help me! Also on Saturday I went and got a half bushel of peaches and on Sunday canned those little fetchers. Again, lots of work but so glad to have them. I do know what I can do with them.....PEACH COBBLER! Wade was actually a lot of help, he helped peel the peaches which he was quite proud of! I have got a ton of tomatoes left in the garden that are starting to ripen so I need them to hurry up so I can finish canning them before I start to hate it!

Fun in the garden!

The other night, Carson, Nicholas and Natalie wanted to help me pick veggies in the garden, So I put them to work. They were so cute and had such a good time finding all the red tomoates and ripe beans. After they were done, the boys were just worn right out and had to take a rest on the lawn! I have loved having a garden this year, it has been so nice to go outside and grocery shop out of my garden! So fun even though my boys won't touch tomatoes, and I planted 18 million of them. They do love beans and corn though so that is good!

So these pictures don't do my beautiful dahlias justice partly cause my camera is half broken and partly cause you just have to see them in person to appreciate how awesome they are. The white ones are called dinner plate dahlias, they are literally the size of a dinner plate and they are so pretty. The other colorful ones are just regular size but they have been so much fun this year. Wades Grandma Bishop has planted these same flowers for years and years, each year she takes them out of the ground puts them in peat moss and puts them in a cold spot for the winter. So I am going to continue this with the ones she gave me. They are probably 40 years old and have made her garden so beautiful every year so I am glad they can now make my yard bright and happy.

Happy Birthday Mom!

So we had a birthday party for my mom last night at my house and it was tons of fun. The kids are just way to cute, each one of them. We ate dinner and played games with the kids and watched them run around and we even had a race around the house, we are nerds but it was fun! It was just fun to be all together, especially for my dear Mother. She is the greatest thing probably ever to walk the face of this earth. She would do anything for anyone at anytime. I love her dearly and so does her whole family. Happy Birthday Mom. Love You!

We Love Dad!

So Wade was feeling a little left out, which he should, poor guy I did not include a picture of him in the blog yet, so here you go babe! Carson and I could not have a better Dad/Husband. He would do anything for us. He stays home during the day with Carson, which Carson just loves, takes him to school, plays anything Carson wants, even if is wrestling for hours on end and then works at night, he goes non stop and never complains and does not even complain when I get new jeans every other second so....... We love you Wade, we think your GrEaT!

Homework!

So for Carson's homework the other night we had to finger paint numbers, I did not have any finger paint so we just used jello pudding on some paper and it worked out quite good and we got to lick our fingers so that was fun! He did reall good with his numbers and made a huge mess in the end, oh well it all cleans up!!!

I had to put in his first day of school shot. TOO CUTE!

Just to get caught up!

So I have to get caught up on some of the fun things we have been up to lately since I am new to the whole blog world some of these things are old but oh well! Carson played soccer in the spring and he loved it, he hated playing goalie cause he wanted to be running and he did score some goals for the other team but he was darling doing it. Wade helped coach the team and it was super cute.

We went swimming a ton this summer, my aunt Janet has a pool at her house so we swam there a lot and then just went to the Logan pool, Carson is becoming quite the fish. He is a great swimmer, he is not afraid to go under the water at all. It was lots of fun, one thing we will miss for sure during the cold months!!

We are lucky to live by lots of darling kids. Nicholas lives right next door to us and he and Carson are good little buddies. Landry lives real close to and she is going to be Carson's wife just so he knows! I need pictures of those two together though, he dad is a photographer and he is always taking pictures so I guess I need to also! They all have lots of fun playing and sometimes fighting but oh well!! Oh and they all got lucky enough to be in the same kindergarten class so they are loving that!

SuMmEr 08

So with lots and lots of peer pressure I finally gave into doing a blog and I think I might really love this! I am a horrible scrapbooker so this will give me a way to keep track of what is going on! Summer was so much fun this year other than it seemed to fly right by, I was still covering my tomatoes in June and here we are watching the leaves change!! AHHH! On May 29th we went to Disneyland for 5 days and went to the beach. Carson absoluty loved every second of it. We had minimal melt downs and all went smooth.
