Bike!!!

So I finally got my bike! I love it so much. I have been out a few times on it, rode about 20 miles the other day, it felt great and it is just a blast to ride. Here is me in my biker chick outfit...gotta love it!

Spotlight!!

I was so proud of Carson. Last Friday he had his spotlight at school. Each child in the class is spotlighted for a week and last week it was his week. On Monday Miss Purser traces their bodies on paper and it is hung on the wall and they put pictures up of him from when he was born until now, it was darling. Then on Friday we got to go and listen to a little progam they put on for him. He sits down in a chair and each one of the kids asks him a question....things like what is your favorite color (blue), what is your favorite brownie (don't have one), what is your favorite number (2,000...that was a funny one), where is your favorite place to go (Grandmas house) it was just so sweet. Then he does a special show and tell and he brought a Valentines card that Grandma Jerrie and Papa Hugh gave him. And Miss Purser told us that she has never heard him speak an unkind word to anyone...it made me feel so happy and proud of him for being such a good friend. Then when she was done each of the kids lined up to tell Carson something and sweet little Landry said to him "Carson, your my very best friend" it brought a tear to my eye. SO SWEET!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Yesterday was my Dad's B-day! He is the greatest Dad in the entire world, first of all he is hilarious and keeps us all laughing! I have a million memories of our times together, shopping being the funnest memory for sure, it is for him also...just ask him! I am a lucky girl to have such a fantastic dad and grandpa to Carson. Carson just loves him to death and they are best little buddies. Last night we had cake and ice cream at my parents house and all the kids had a lot of fun playing together and we had a great time visiting.

Slacker!

I have been such a blogging slacker lately but I vow to be better. Life gets crazy and it seems like it's just one more thing! Carson is doing good in school, he is reading better and better all the time, it is amazing to watch. I was having a conversation with Wade the other night about how amazing it is that the human brain grows so much in that first 5 years. I can not believe how quickly he picks up on things....amazing. I love him so much. We've gone to a few Aggie games recently they are a blast! So I'll put a few pics in of that, I also got glasses which makes me sad!! I should have never turned 30, I don't want to be a four eyes, but oh well...it's now my time! My other exciting news is I am getting a road bike. I am thrilled about it, I look forward to being able to go out in warm weather and put some good miles on my baby. Carson is excited to be able to ride together so it should be fun.
