Well summer offically flew by in a flash. Carson is in first grade...pause to wipe my tears. I would love to report that he is loving it but he is having a bit of an adjustment to it. It would be one thing if he would have been bored this summer.... but he loved each and every day and played as hard as he could. I think he is missing that freedom but this will be good for him. I hate to see that kid grow up so fast, it is a strange thing to watch but also so amazing. He is the love of my life! So, here are some pictures of what we have been up to the last little while! Carson turned 6, went to Bear Lake a lot this summer which was a blast and of course....SCHOOL.

Summer Update
Blogging has been hard for me this summer, I feel like we are constantly going from the minute we wake up to when we go to bed which is always late. I love being outside at night weather that is working in the garden, watching all the neighbor kids play or being on my bike, I just live for this time of year. We had a fun 4th of July, It might be my favorite holiday. I love going to the parades and fireworks and the bbq's. So much fun. Carson is having a great time, playing with friends, swimming at the pool, Lagoon, eating lots of ice cream, I love it!

Baseball
Carson has been waiting a long time for this....BASEBALL. He loves loves loves to play baseball with his Dad, and he is lucky cause Wade is his coach this year. They are, of course, the Cubs so they are both really happy about that. It is way too cute to watch. Carson is quite the little athlete, he takes it very serious!!

Carson getting ready to make a play at 2nd base
Best part of the game is the treat!

Re-furb
My darling patio furniture my dad made me several years ago needed some attention. So I decided once and for all to do it so I went and got the paint and spent Saturday painting. I love how it turned out, it makes me smile when I see it for two reasons; one, my Dad made it, two, look how bright and fun it is!
